Elk Creek Hunt Club is both excited and honored to be chosen as the location for the 2009 US Open Sporting Clay Championships. The competition will be staged during the third week of June 2009 and should have more than 1,000 shooters from every state — including some from outside the country. The US Open is the sport's second-largest annual competition, behind the Nationals, which are held at the NSCA's headquarters in San Antonio.
