2009 US OPEN

Elk Creek Hunt Club is both excited and honored to be chosen as the location for the 2009 US Open Sporting Clay Championships. The competition will be staged during the third week of June 2009 and should have more than 1,000 shooters from every state — including some from outside the country. The US Open is the sport's second-largest annual competition, behind the Nationals, which are held at the NSCA's headquarters in San Antonio.

Three separate courses, one over water, offer 45 newly remodeled and paved sporting clays stations on 35 shooting fields which can be shot as 50 or 100 target rounds. Elk Creek's sporting clays courses are spread over 2,500 acre hunting preserve which also supports the best of upland field and woodland hunting. A fleet of golf carts is available for daily rental and adds comfort to your sporting clay experience.
